4000 women each YEAR? In the US ALONE?
I believe that our children should have an option to get this vaccine -- both BOYS and GIRLS because that is the most common way for HPV to be shared -- through intimate contact.
Doing this at age 12 or 13 makes sense to me -- because it is right after this age that many awaken and experiment. Why not protect our children and give them a chance to have healthy bodies and healthy relationships?
